Probably not who you think.
@georgetakei Rittenhouse not only brought guns to a protest, he shot people, and the republicans labeled him a hero

Imagine a stranger spreads lies about you. They tell people you're doing horrible depraved crimes. Would you just block them?

What happens when other people don't block them? When other people believe the lies and share them?

What if this turns into real life abuse and violence against you and your family?

This is what vulnerable groups face from bigots. Bigoted accounts need to be shut down, servers which refuse to remove bigots should be defederated.

"Just block them" doesn't work.

I dunno man, I just think that if you are detaining someone half your height who has a fuzzy blue animal winter hat and a cartoon backpack on, you might be the baddies.
Do Europeans really want to make a difference in our shit show of a country? Then sanction any and everyone with an R next to their political affilation. Also, the blue dogs too, just to be safe.

FOR THE RECORD:

ICE operates overtly on racial profiling.
ICE does not know, understand, or care that Puerto Ricans are Americans.
ICE detains brown and black US citizens.
ICE disappears Native Americans.
ICE officials think New Mexico license plates are Mexican vehicles.
ICE contests official birth certificates if their "infallible" facial recog system disagrees.

ICE is paid for meeting quotas of detaining people, EVEN IF WRONGLY DETAINED and released later.

ICE is here to TERRORIZE.

There are alot of reasons newspapers had sections.
Prioritizing, segmenting, filtering, and more. When I was a kid, I always started with the sports section, everything else was an afterthought.

Naw, I hated cops long before I knew what socialism was. The problem with most of y'all is you've never been "the suspect" or "the defendant."

Interacting with American police, is a hard, but very effective way of understanding quickly that they are not on your side.

Time once again to offer this community a chance to step up. Introducing Mastodon for Minneapolis, a fundraiser to benefit the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund organized by the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota. Let’s see what we can do to support the people of metro Minneapolis as they grapple with a federal invasion. https://www.grapevine.org/giving-circle/doWhZ3Z/Mastodon-for-Minneapolis 1/
Wow, the northern lights over Greenland are incredible. 😆
