Josh Marshall previews Jamal Bowman’s primary race. He’s an astute observer of politics with real connections to NY & I think it’s an interesting piece, though I think Bowman has a much better chance than he does.
This line however, makes no sense. If you don’t identify what Israel is doing in Gaza as genocide, but oppose supporting that effort, it is, at best, going to devolve into technocratic gibberish, but more likely just come off as antisemitism.

It just doesn’t stop with these people.
Putin isn’t “allowing corruption arrests”, he’s where the corruption starts and continues. All he’s doing is getting rid of people who didn’t know their place in his corrupt regime.
If they weren’t so consistently bad you might wonder what was wrong with them.
Only in the NYT could an underdog candidate who vastly overachieved be unfavorably compared to a trainwreck of a candidate -- who flamed out months earlier -- and who the paper previously pushed as the only potential shining star of the campaign.
