@alberniweather The south livewebcam, is the smoke causing a haze on the image or is it the sun? I know the air quality isn't great right now. I'm only asking as my family and I left Port Alberni and are wondering. We have some falling ash here at Spider Lake. You can feel it in your throat.
can't see the mountain. The Alberni Inlet Breeze is clearing the City of the smoke but it is also pushing it all around the Valley like a bowl.
The air is worse on the north and west side of the valley as the smoke gets trapped by the hillside.
