Whenever a road needs repaving or utility work in Madison, the city takes the opportunity to redesign the road. This is building a “culture of safety” and reducing death and injury.
I would love to see a similar approach in San Francisco.

@TheWarOnCars I did it, I’ve become a patron supporter. I can’t say I have given up cars for 100% of my travels. I live in Oshkosh, WI, a city designed for cars. I use my Mini Cooper when bus travel is unavailable. I ride my bike when possible.
Change is so hard. We has bike lanes, but all they are is paint on roads. Bicycle riding is so dangerous!
