Just got Red Hat 5.2 (from 1998, not RHEL 5.2, that's a different Linux) installed on my Pentium 1 laptop (Compaq Tecra 530CDT). Had to install to a disk image using pcem, clone the image to sdcard, fix lilo that got clobbered during sdcard imaging, set up X11 and it works! Faster than Windows 98 by a significant margin! I had to do the install this way because I have no cd-r's and the cd drive is too old for cd-rw.
