Optimism and companionship for the path ahead.

I have nothing to say about this other than to describe it. It’s the view from the road on the way down to the beach near here. The sun wasn’t setting. It was only about 13:30hrs. However the sun is very low in the sky at this time of year. The clouds are coloured by the pale sun and the sea shimmers with the reflection of it. In the foreground is a grassy slope that goes down to the gate which we use to access the seashore. In the far distance is the Island of Rum.

Latest blog ~ 'Gated' ~ https://is.gd/kiSkl0 ~ "I can only maintain the ‘Deep Work’ state for a few hours a day - which is enough. But I need to put my phone down, turn my email off, close the door and lock the gates. Just for those hours; no-one gets in."

Wishing everyone who celebrates a very Merry Christmas. The wonderful Sarah Millican started #JoinIn for everyone who is alone or finds today difficult. So if today is hard for you for whatever reason, use the hashtag and find people to chat to.

Today's #Mindful Moment :

'A Christmas Eve walk'
Mud squelching underfoot, an invigorating breeze, the trees dancing to nature's rhythm, the light ...

I don’t thinks it’s paranoid to notice that one of the richest men on earth could have ended world hunger and still be rich but decided instead to spend $44 Billion to destroy one of the most effective community activism hubs we’ve ever had.
Writing up notes of our design meeting at snowy Ashridge for the next iteration of our doctorate in organisational change. Reflecting on a story of constant evolution in content and pedagogy against a backdrop of rigour and transformation. https://is.gd/o6PEfs
