@jannem Sorry for the late reply! Credit cards are acceptable in major cities, and you can also use local QR code-based mobile payments known as eWallets with a Malaysian phone number. For the TnG eWallet, you can buy reload PINs in convenience stores to top up the balance and you won't have to worry about handling a huge amount of cash. I believe eWallet payments are more common than card terminals around the country overall.
