@atpfm Thanks to the handy Smart Resume feature in @overcastfm this episode’s Siri discussion threw my phone into a 5-second time loop today of @siracusa saying “Siri, say my name” while I was driving in conditions too snowy to hit the skip button. 🤣

@RecDiffs In my Minnesota school in the 80s-90s, had a civics teacher who doubled as a gym substitute. Any time this teacher taught gym, we played a game called Vietnam Ball. Played on a volleyball court with net, it was similar to dodgeball. You would lob a ball over the net. If you hit someone in the arm or leg, that person would have to play out the rest of the game without using that limb. Hit in the head or torso and they are out. They catch the ball and you are out. Nuts!

@hotdogsladies Here’s one that could maybe fall under both? Today I learned that most people (other than me) do not pronounce the “l” in “calm” and “palm” - apparently it’s silent!? 50 years on this planet and I always thought people who said “kahm” had some sort of accent or speech impediment.

@RecDiffs The most I have laughed in a long time is when @hotdogsladies recounted telling his family about something, and when John asks how they reacted he deadpans: “They didn’t notice I said anything.” All too familiar! 😂

@yuusharo @overcastfm I have this issue regularly too. For me it is, ironically, very often an @atpfm member special when it happens. Bizarre!
