Here's the thing with Elon.
At Tesla and SpaceX, he could hire engineers so passionate about electric cars and building rockets, so frustrated by the slow pace at other organisations, they willingly worked themselves to the bone and covered up for his many shortcomings. Quite how sustainable that is, we'll see.
But there are plenty of other companies with the same mission as Twitter. And software engineers are so sought after, he can't hire the best on peanuts. It can't work.
The richest 1% took home nearly twice as much wealth as the rest of the world put together over the past two years.
Folks, this is what oligarchy looks like.
My awesome wife is an #NHS nurse.
Tonight she was an hour late coming home at the end of her 13 hour shift, because there was nobody to hand over to.
She was looking after 8 patients today. That’s 7.5 minutes per patient per hour.
For £16.84 per hour.
This is normal - having got gradually worse over the past years. It’s breaking her spirit and ultimately putting patients at risk.

I created a Twitter account pretending to be Senator Ed Markey (with his permission) and applied for Blue “verification.”
And once again, Twitter took my $8, asked zero questions and gave the fake account a blue checkmark.
Andy Ngo and Elon Musk apparently confirming that Musk personally suspended my Twitter account at Ngo's request, following Ngo's multiple failed attempts to silence my reporting on Ngo's ties to violent right-wing terrorist groups.
