@KatLynReid Good luck!
@KatLynReid When I feel stuck like that I get away for a while. Usually, I'll take a walk over to Lake Michigan. It doesn't necessarily solve anything, but sometimes inspiration hits when I'm in a different environment, and even if it doesn't, I still feel at least a little better. It will come to you eventually.
@tcronin50 Thank you! Hope yours has been good. Kinda crazy over here, but all well in the end.
This has me so upset I can't spell "Sci-Fi!" 🤣 🤣
And then there are those moviemakers who play loon sounds every time they want to create a mood of "mystery." They mercilessly exploit this beautiful bird of northern lakes and put its pristine call in all kinds of habitats: swamps, jungles, even deserts for crying out loud! And if I hear another extraterrestrial loon in a Si-Fi movie I will *riot!*
@tejenson @annaghughes 🤣 How I wish that were true! Just walking along the trail and suddenly I hear "Greensleaves" coming from high up in a red pine.
@annaghughes If you find them let me know. I have words!
@willbuckingham Yes! Although at my age (65 and retired) and not relying on writing for income I am finding myself just writing what I want (fiction and nonfiction) and worrying about the rest later. I am about to query my completed novel, and meanwhile just decided my next nonfiction project, and that will be my first one using this new approach. Fingers crossed....
