It is time for the #BBC and #NPR to set up shop on #Mastodon. Same applies to all other serious news institutions.

They should set up their own servers. They have the means to do so and it just makes sense.

Terrible things happening in Israel/Palestine’s West Bank. Seems there's this zone near Nablus with high settler/Palestinian conflict, people on both sides killed regularly, most recently 2 settlers, currently settlers in revenge mode, pogroming and torching a little village called Huwara.

BTW this is the sort of thing where Twitter is really the only good way to follow. I wonder if the #fediverse will ever become a good real-time news-tracker?
