I have written lots of code. Humanist, liberal.
'Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on the rights of the individual, liberty, consent of the governed, political equality, the right to private property and equality before the law.'
@samlitzinger Literally the "mailbox rule" that every first year law student learns in contracts. Roughly: because you have no control over what happens after mailing a contract acceptance, in general, a contract is considered accepted on the date it is mailed, not on the date it is received.
I really truly wish ppl would stop copying/pasting these truth social posts. Who would see them if they were left to thinly echo to nothing in that hollowed out irrelevant platform?
@SeanCasten This has real Milo Minderbinder vibes. Maybe next they'll pay Iran for attacks on US bases to free up some more congressional funding.
@aaronsgiles Hyundai Ioniq electric (precursor to the ioniq 5) Bought one a year ago still under original warranty — the *only* caveat is it’s front wheel drive, and low rolling resistance tires so it was sidelined during the last several weeks of northeast winter. All season tires would probably do the trick but would reduce efficiency somewhat. Range is around 180 miles in warm weather if u drive reasonably and I just plug it in overnight to a regular wall socket as needed.

Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a cow it came up that she has never sat on a horse. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never sat on a horse.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on a horse.

Have you sat on a horse?

@Digital_Coolie @jeffjarvis "Epic Fury". EF, like Epstein Files I guess?
I wonder what the odds are that repubs would impeach trump if his SOU address goes off the rails. It would certainly be one thing to do to increase the chances of keeping the majority in Congress and the WH.
@samlitzinger And I imagine there won't be any more $200 million PR contracts from DHS for her husband's company either. Sad!
Assuming what he meant was ‘bored of peace’
