I can't think of any reason to treat people interested in military-style violence and religious/ethnic hatred differently based on which extremist flavor of religion they're claiming as basis for their views.

Couldn't identify this #bird on a roof at the #houstonzoo - everyone else nearby was a flamingo or a black bellied whistling duck, but this tall fellow looked like a cross between a duck and an egret. Couldn't get a better view than this one. #birdsofmastodon

I admire Keller's optimism here, thinking it's at all possible to come back from the position where "evangelical" means "on the authoritarian right of the GOP."

Though my #Episcopal parish has been growing, along with the "a church that looks and acts like Jesus" mission, so perhaps it's possible.
