The first album of the third line-up with Ted Leonard as lead vocalist. A damn fine prog album that still holds up really well.

Today is the 10th anniversary of my Consolation EP.

The title track of the EP is probably my most emotional recording. It's a fretless bass improvisation that involves the use of a looper, recorded in a single take, no edits. The piece simply flowed out of me in the week after an uncle had passed away.

Here is a fragment of the final section of the piece where you hear the evolution of dozens of loops playing over each other.
