I thought it was rather good. TOS often had Spock as the butt of the joke, usually at the end of episode wrap up on the bridge.
The best parts though were Amanda expanding from just Spock’s mom to an actual person with feelings and sacrifice; then T’Pring getting the same expansion.
I particularly loved T’Prings mom and dad :)
Oh and the aliens were hilariously frustrating, like calling customer service and trying to get though their IVR to a real person.
