I ❤ Star Trek, every incarnation of it. Period. Don't try to read any negativity in my posts - it's simply not there.

Here's the same torpedo launch shot of the USS Enterprise-D, as seen in five seasons of #StarTrekTNG remastered: "Encounter at Farpoint"↖️ (1), "Q Who"↗️, "Peak Performance"⬅️ (both 2), "The Survivors"➡️ (3), "The Nth Degree"↙️ (4), "New Ground"↘️ (5).
In #StarTrekTNG's "The Arsenal of Freedom", Geordi La Forge becomes the second commanding officer of the USS Enterprise-D to gaze at the stars through the ready room window before making a tough decision or engaging in a dangerous battle. Also notice the fish tank power cable. 😅
Dr. Crusher has used several different types of PADD stylus over the years but the one recurring most often is this one, first seen in #STarTrekTNG's "The Naked Now"↖️. It also appeares in "Identity Crisis"↗️, "The Nth Degree"↙️, "Imaginary Friend"↘️ and other episodes I'll cover eventually.
The first time on #StarTrekTOS we got a bridge shot, focusing on the helm console and the main viewscreen, was in "The Menagerie II". This shot is interesting, as the lights and switches to the left and right of the main viewscreen don't match up, as seen when comparing with "Operation -- Annihilate!"⬇️. 1/2
That is because the footage in #StarTrekTOS' "The Menagerie II"↖️ was flipped and actually shows the starboard side of the bridge ↙️. When you compare this to shots from "The Corbomite Maneuver"↘️ and "Is There In Truth No Beauty?"↗️, you can see how the viewscreen buttons match. 2/2
Several of the recurring medical consoles in #StarTrekTNG received a make-over before "The Nth Degree"↘️. The screenshots from earlier episodes "Conspiracy"↖️, "A Matter of Perspective"↗️ and "Remember Me"↙️ show what the consoles looked like before (different color and tape stripes).
When I did research on the bridge overhead displays on #StarTrekTOS during the last 5 months, I also noticed these recurring shots featuring the main viewscreen, the Captain's chair and various members of the bridge crew. I'll write about my (hopefully interesting) findings in the next few days. 😊
No wonder Barclay is a little nervous when Doctor Crusher treats him in sickbay after the opening credits in #StarTrekTNG's "The Nth Degree"⬇️: she is holding one of the new morgue PADDs from "Night Terrors"⬆️, still displaying the autopsy report... ;-)
I remember how surprised I was when I first noticed the sickbay red alert indicator in #StarTrekTNG's "Remember Me"↗️. Here, it is seen again in "The Nth Degree"↘️. The red alert lights in front of the CMO's office can also be seen in "Remember Me"↙️ and "Suddenly Human"↖️.
This moment in #StarTrekTNG's "Coming of Age" is interesting: we hear Commander Riker speak this line and see his reflection in the window ⬆️, his mouth doesn't move at all, however. It's because the footage was taken from later in the scene when both Riker and Picard ponder the decision ⬇️.
