Hermitcraft is live with a charity stream for Gamers Outreach. This organization donates "portable video game kiosks built specifically for hospitals" to hospitals all over the world. These are meant to give kids some distraction from the hospital environment during multi day visits.

- Conversion therapy is bad (UN says it is kind of torture)

- there’s an ECI to ban it in European union

- an ECI is a petition that can be discussed in european institutions and it needs enough citizens from different countries to sign it

- it must reach enough signatures before 17th of may.

I am loving that things are finally moving to make European countries less dependent on US software (especially cloud providers), but I am disappointed that there isn't more of a focus on open source software.

There are several government programs within EU counties to fund the development of open source software. We need WAY more of that, coordinated at the EU level.

The best way to avoid being beholden to big tech is to fund viable open source alternatives.

So I've been looking into browsers a little bit, since I'm not sure about Mozilla anymore. I was doubting whether I should switch to Librewolf or not, but when I heard that they declared themselves "woke", I'm now pretty sure I'll start using it.

When Lunduke calls you out for being racist, because you don't give white people privileges, in the same breath as where he states ableism is fake crime designed to hurt "normal people", it's a badge of honor.
