The "Meeting & Status Seminar 2025" of the @dfg_public #SPP2299 Priority Programme "Tropical Climate Variability & Coral Reefs" took place last week in Bremen, Germany.
We were more than 50 participants from 28 national and international institutions.

New Paper Alert!
Check out a recently published study around on decadal oscillations in the world's largest oxygen-deficient zone. This research, by Nicolas Duprey from MPI for Chemistry, uses nitrogen isotopes in corals skeletons to understand natural climate variability of the Pacific ODZ.
SPP 2299 is also committed to training the next generation of climate and coral reef scientists. Early-career researchers get hands-on experience with experts and learn techniques to help them tackle tomorrow's climate challenges.
