Press coverage won’t say that Trump is lying—it will instead repeat the claims with the faint “without evidence” clause. This will establish the public perception that there’s a legitimate debate over which candidate is the anti-democratic authoritarian.

They shot down a metallic cylinder the size of a car that was flying at 40,000 ft with an AIM-9X sidewinder missile. The Pentagon claims to have no idea what it was, where it came from, or where it was headed. And the language they use leaves I’m the possibility of off world origin on the table.
