Go hard on public spending, go hard on social security, go hard on taxing companies and the rich.

It’s your only option. Don’t? You saw what happened in America. You see what’s happening in the UK.

Change. Really, actually, deliver for people. It’s a matter of global security.

Part of the solution to the house shortage in the UK is to force house builders to build the right kind of houses, for the right price. It's in the interests of the house builders to build low specification 3 or 4 bedroom boxes in relatively small quantities, to minimise costs, increase demand, and maximise profits. They should be forced to build a much higher proportion of higher specification but smaller houses and apartments, suitable for social housing and first time buyers.

All new houses built in this UK should have solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and fibre broadband. When built at scale, the extra costs would be quite small. Banking of land should not be allowed, and any company that does not meet the government mandated targets and standards should not be allowed to build anything, not even a garden shed.
