@georgetakei a kid we do carpool with is super Catholic like her parents. She was going through Bible study for Communion. She would rail on about how we were going to hell because we didn't believe or go to church. I told her it'll be nice and toasty and I guess we will all see her there. She was stunned and said she was going to heaven because she believed and sat in Church every Sunday. I told her her Bible study teacher and priest failed her. Told her she has to actually be sorry for her sins. She's a little brat and goes out of her way to make ppl miserable. She told me that I didn't know anything about the Bible. Actually, I used to be Christian and read the entire thing cover to cover. On top of that, I studied it in Lit in college from a professor that used to be super catholic. Went to Catholic school from elementary all the way through college. She shut her trap after that.

@SwiftOnSecurity her career started in the South. She wasn't going to alienate alot of her fans. She only spoke out when Cheeto started bringing her name into it. But yes, she could have tilted the scales in a positive direction.

@oberstenzian @Impossible_PhD well they need ppl to fill the ag fields and vocational jobs since they deported all of the immigants regardless of citizenship status. They tried using prisoners to do field work but they got a big FU.

@AnnyJoe @Impossible_PhD Decades ago, my tuition was ~$7k/yr and scholarships/part-time job covered most of it. Subsidized loans allowed me to eat and have roof over my head. I'm not sure I would be able to do college full-time with those prices if at all.

And now, he’s using his wealth, created by your subscriptions, to fund tech that will use AI to literally murder humans in war.

@TycoonTom that really sucks. I usually get receipts and check total as I'm walking out. It's how I caught that I didn't get both prescriptions yesterday after a long day at work. I wasn't paying attention to what the tech tossed in the bag and paid for it without looking at the total.
