2022 - … : Platforms close off in every imaginable way and start taking every opportunity to extract rents from users, benefits that originally got people to move over now gone, but the network effects are such you can no longer switch to open alternatives or convince other people to do so

ChatGPT and variants are not AI. There is no actual intelligence. They're predictive algorithms. They're just percentage-based math.
So he's either telling stupid lies or lying in a stupid way.

@Firehawke_R I know my health problems don't compare to yours, but my own road to recovery has really made me wonder how much the past six or seven years have lowered the ceiling for everyone. It's been crisis after crisis.
There are multiple small things I've had to do to see any sort of improvement, such as managing stress, talking with people more openly, and even eating more fresh vegetables. That last one in particular becomes more and more important as you age. Food is medicine.
I got this knockoff of the Nerf Rebelle Sweet Revenge. The Rebelle line was marketed toward girls, which was a shame because they were STYLISH, like something out of Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
This blaster seems like it has a hardy construction, but the best part is the box and all the features it advertises.
