One of the things I really hate about my medical condition is how much of myself I've lost over the last seven years:

I used to be a jack-of-all-trades that would study a billion (only slightly overstated) different areas of interest. Now I struggle to focus and remember. So many side projects I've had sketched out over the years that I'll never be able to get back to now...

@Firehawke_R I know my health problems don't compare to yours, but my own road to recovery has really made me wonder how much the past six or seven years have lowered the ceiling for everyone. It's been crisis after crisis.

There are multiple small things I've had to do to see any sort of improvement, such as managing stress, talking with people more openly, and even eating more fresh vegetables. That last one in particular becomes more and more important as you age. Food is medicine.

@CK20XX Yeah, I don't know anyone who isn't struggling to at least some extent. Those who were already fighting issues with dealing with other people found themselves going over the edge more frequently, too.
