#finishedreading "Monk's Hood", the third book in the Chronicle of Brother Cadfael series.
To be honest, I already forgot much of what happened in the two previous books, but I think this one will turn out to be more memorable.
The murder case was quiete simple, like everything depends on this one detail to prove the boy's innocence (just trust old Cadfael). I did enjoy the payoff, with a sense of ambiguity and inadvertent self-denunciation.
Miss Marple is not one to readily accept help or affection she didn't ask for (or most explicitly demand). But these dog days she has nothing but love for the attempts to keep her fresh.
Today I saw someone wearing a Black Metal Endurance Punk t-shirt. It's a German YouTube channel on underground metal and circling/running.
The channel has less than 2,000 subscribers, so I thought it was cool to see that in the wild.

Ahoi zusammen! Learn what’s new in the thread below.
Touché Amoré have the most passionate fans. While Germany usually tends to have a rather passive and unresponsive crowd (I've heard many a band comment on that), everyone went batshit crazy for the encore.
The show was the ten year celebration for "Stage Four", but the concert really only started when that main event was done. Suddenly everyone knew every word of every song, the hardcore energy fully escalated.
Just finished the first season of "Welcome to Wrexham". I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I feel like the show does a very good job at conveying the emotions of living for the game and your team.
The TV season follows the exact same trajectory as the football season itself. Dull and liveless at first, but it really picks up at about the midway point. By the end of the season I felt way more invested than I should admit. 😅
Don't mind me, just making sure you won't forget it's dinner time soon.
Oh, and last.fm scrobbling was configured and working in 3 minutes, too:
