NBC News: Three senior law enforcement officials tell NBCNews they're expecting #Trump to surrender at the #Fulton County jail no earlier than Thursday of next week. 

DA #FaniWillis gave Trump and his 18 co-defendants a deadline of noon on Friday to surrender.

okay you might remember this project that i posted about last year: https://posts.decontextualize.com/solar-powered-dawn-poems-progress-report/ in which I generate poetry from a markov chain on a microcontroller using a solar panel harvester chip and some big capacitors. i originally wrote the generator with CircuitPython, which gave me 2–3 lines of poetry per discharge from the harvester.

well I just finished reimplementing the generator in C++ and now I get... ~200 lines of poetry per discharge (!)

A lot of people ask me the difference between a white nationalist and a white supremacist.

• A white nationalist is someone who believes in a strictly enforced authoritarian racial ethnostate.

• A white supremacist is a white nationalist, with sour cream and diced tomatoes.

Our 10yr old has gotten ***REALLY*** into mechanical watches & clocks to the point he's on the verge of starting a side gig repairing them. He mentions his hobby to everyone, and a lot of folks have a not-quite-working item sitting around. He's fixed a number of them.

He has had a tough time with an civil war era pocket watch, but was finally able to salvage a compatible part from somewhere, and he got it ticking today. He was so proud, and wants to share with everyone.
