Last Spring I came across a cat colony at a cemetery here in Porto. Even though it appeared the cats were being fed, they looked pretty gnarly. So I took it upon myself to feed them on a regular basis. Since a few months, a non profit organisation took over, also providing medical assistance to the cats. Unfortunately a couple of cats passed away, but others are thriving and some even got adopted! I still visit the colony to give them some extra treats, scratches and belly rubs, and stay in touch with the organisation when needed. 💖🐈⬛
