MITHIC 2026 is a hands-on workshop dedicated to theoretical and practical methods for analysing high-dimensional data and understanding how complex, emergent behaviour arises from interactions beyond the pairwise level.

Registration is free and open to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and researchers from relevant disciplines. Prior experience with Python is helpful but not required.

We are pleased to announce MITHIC 2026 – Multivariate Information Theory and Higher-Order Interactions in Complex Systems, taking place 11–13 May 2026 in Zaragoza, Spain.

🔑 Meeting ID: 667 8488 4971 | Passcode: 352753

In this talk, Prof. Jost will explore the emerging mathematical theory of hypergraphs — from Laplace-type operators and spectra to discrete curvature — offering powerful tools for analysing complex empirical systems.

If you missed it, our September seminar with Prof. Heather Harrington on Topological Data Analysis for Multiscale Biology is now on YouTube. 🎥
