I feel like I can't say "software" anymore (e.g. social annotation software, classroom polling software). It feels like signalling that I am out-of-touch. Do I just replace it with "tool" everytime? Advice, #eddev #facdev #instructionaldesign #higheredpedagogy ?

I just discovered Tracie Addy's vignette videos of inclusive teaching practices and I'm stoked! It's so hard to find high quality videos of #highered instructors actually teaching, rather than talking about their teaching as a talking head.
