TIL when an airless paint sprayer runs out of paint, the motor/pump runs away trying to make up pressure. The hose has none of the pulses under normal operation.

I thought the motor had sheared its key or something. Then I couldn’t trigger it because, as tech support told me, the regulator label might be a bit off.

#Graco tech support is fabulous. They REALLY know their stuff. Thank you Patrick.

The thing I enjoy about really terrible people on the Fediverse is that they pop up with their bile and hate, then are just immediately swatted away by literally everyone, into silence and obscurity. Walled off from all of the many lovelies. Hurrah! F those Bs. X

My first face study when I was learning color and digital painting in early 2023! It's one of those lightning in a bottle moments, didn't quite know how I got to the end.

Sometimes I remember that the London Bridge is in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and think wtf is with this crazy country. I wonder how many British people know about this.

Why not both?

This flower wants to have hot sweaty transgressive sex with you, or maybe just kill you and feast on your flesh.

Ahh, well, as a projectionist, I did create some stuff.

The first programmed “Behind the Dome” tour.
The only digital IMAX frame counter (I had collaborators.)
The first (and only, never used) wireless emergency stop system for the projector.
The first film-platter lift.
I did a real stupid one though: adding two Klipsch Lescalas to a Sonics sound system was dumb. (We tried to fill the “headphone gap” in the 6 channel sound system.)
