+30 year old spray foam insulation, painted back then, is surprisingly porous.

Yesterday I heaped on the latex. Today I tried to stretch it. You can totally see the difference. At $30 per gallon, might have to accept the faint, yellow tinge.

And wowie, a #Graco X7 airless sprayer absolutely burns through paint. In the best sense.

TIL when an airless paint sprayer runs out of paint, the motor/pump runs away trying to make up pressure. The hose has none of the pulses under normal operation.

I thought the motor had sheared its key or something. Then I couldn’t trigger it because, as tech support told me, the regulator label might be a bit off.
