I hope this isn’t the case
““Whatever the Catholic Church may say officially, restoration of sacramental communion between our churches, sought for so many years, simply isn’t going to happen now,” said Msgr. Michael Nazir-Ali”

Catholics urged to be cautious over new Anglican schism

As bishops and archbishops from the worldwide Anglican Communion sever links with England's first female archbishop of Canterbury, citing her church’s “false teaching,” Catholics are being urged to maintain friendly ties while dropping illusions about future reunification.

Primrose in drizzle and bad light at the fantastic Wiltshire Wildlife Trust reserve at #Ravensroost Wood yesterday morning. My first properly-wild primroses of the year. #SignsOfSpring #WildflowerHour #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

I loved the short time I attended Frenchay Quaker Meeting house
When nearby
I was stressed
A place of solace
To stop and be still
For mind to quieten
A beautiful old meeting house
A beautiful garden, former cemetery
A few people who made me welcome

Never settled at other quakers
And like lectionary

When I attended Catholic Cathedral
At time living nearby
Loved the evening services
The sense of devotion and adoration
Spoken services with said liturgy
Kneeling, gestures
But I wasn’t a catholic
Making eucharist partaking complicated
After a warm house with last week’s sunshine
Now acclimatising to cooler temperatures again
Not fan of BCP eucharist and early hours
Loud organ/music, building echos, obscure hymns all can be a challenge
And video content and presentations unappreciated

After activism, prison, tag, melt down, depression…
Struggled with crowds and noise…
Now much improved
Resumed church attendance
Like monastic houses services through day
Like cathedral daily eucharist & evening services
Yet to settle anywhere for Sunday morning

Good sermon the armour of God is a rejection of the weapons of war. And naming genocidal claims in Joshua
Even on this grey cold day the trees in flower are beautiful and lift the spirits

People would "rather die in bombing than in the Islamic Republic’s prisons, where there’s torture and sexual violence," she says
