I can only spend a few minutes looking at #twitter comments before I have to stop. The amount of stupidity and hatefulness feels like a physical weight on my shoulders.

In case anyone ever wondered this: the “we’re not allowed to say merry Christmas anymore” thing started years ago when Walmart, in an attempt to be inclusive, didn’t put Xmas banners up in their stores or say “Merry Christmas” to customers. Instead, they used “Happy Holidays.” People FREAKED the F out. They blasted Walmart for trying to cancel Christ. So… the following year, Walmart started saying Merry Christmas again.
20-some years later we’re still dealing with this faux war on Christmas.
