We reached 30.000 โ‚ฌ in funding on @kickstarter ! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ

We are absolutely overwelmed by all the support received on Liquid Blade and we can't wait to start the production and put the system in the hands of our makers!

We have 3 days left before the campaign is officially closed but you can still get your Liquid Blade 3D system at a discounted price! Hurry up! ๐Ÿซฃ

An example of PCB etching with a Creality #Ender 3 and how to clean the copper after the process.

Our Kickstarter is 100% funded so now it's all about improving the process for a cleaner, more precise etch ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ฌ

What metal would you like to see next?

"Rather than ripping into the metal with a sharp bit, the Liquid Blade has a small peristaltic pump forcing a small jet of solution onto the metal, which electrochemically eats a controlled amount away. This absence of thermal stress and physical contact suggests the tool could be particularly effective for delicate tasks where warping or burrs are a concern."

Thanks to All3DP for their article about our project Liquid Blade 3D

We tested Liquid Blade mounted on a Creality Ender 3 on a piece of 1 mm steel and the results are amazing! ๐Ÿคฏ

You can see the water jet eroding and removing a little bit of material at each pass.

We also improved our nozzle design making it more easy to assemble and overall more reliable.

One of the best use of Liquid Blade is etching and cutting flex pcb at home!

You can easily remove the copper without touching the kapton layer under it.

๐Ÿšซ No heat, smoke or loud noises! Perfect tool for your next #wearable #prototype !

Check our Kickstarter campaign.

You can also cut and engrave metal and create amazing #jewellery with Liquid Blade and a 3D printer.

It uses electrochemistry (water+electricity) to remove and cut all kinds of metals. โšก๐Ÿ’ง

The process makes no heat or smoke and it is perfectly safe to use at home!

๐Ÿซฃ A quick sneak peak of the titanium etch we did today with Liquid Blade 3D!

You can see the liquid forming a small hole where it hits the material.

We will post the full video on our socials soon, explaining how to prepare the solution and the machine for this metal!

Check our Kickstarter, link in bio!

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ฌ Is Liquid Blade tingling your inner mad scientist? Good!

For this #BlackFriday, if you support us ordering Liquid Blade before next Tuesday, we will send you a kit with all the ingredients and a blank to experiment with Titanium for free! ๐Ÿคฏ

Curious how? In the next days, we will show how to prepare the solution and post our tests on etching and cutting one of the hardest metal out there! ๐ŸคŸโšก

Stay tuned!

A little experiment to show our vision after Liquid Blade: 3D printing metal with electrochemistry!

Using the same concept of Liquid Blade 3D, but in reverse and instead of removing material we can add it via an electrochemical water jet.

No high pressure, no heat, no smoke.

Help us bring this technology to every #maker and #creative , back us up on Kickstarter!

Testing a new improved version of our custom peristaltic pump we use to pump the liquid solution around the system!

We are very proud of our pump

It's a small wifi and usb-c powered pump that push the solution around without ever touching it. It can be used in any situation when you want to move a liquid without contaminate it.
