Tried wrapping my head around making an O'Neill Cylinder by visualising it's scale against my local landscape as I walked the dog today and what it'd take to make one.
My main takeaway is that it'd be an exhausting amount of work to do over the weekend.

I must share this because I've been so excited about it! Was waiting (very impatiently) for the artist to post it, but I stopped waiting because it's too awesome not to share.
I had been wanting to commission this artist for well over a year now, and finally things lined up for me this summer.
Many thanks to @animalshapes for the awesome art of my dragon having a pleasant nap in a ruined library.
Sad for a library to be in that condition, but at least it's still getting good use from the local wildlife.
