Hmmmm, it's almost as if the Sequoiadendron Giganteum #Redwoods are the last survivors of the redwoods that were along the shores of Lake Corcoran before it drained away. (Red dots on right are Sequoiadendron Giganteum). The lake might've provided fog for them for better conditions across the region, heck might've provided migration routes before isolation of the species.
