A section of the #Roman Eifel #aqueduct that supplied water to the city of Cologne. The vaulted underground tunnel with an inspection shaft at Mechernich-Breitenbenden was unearthed during construction work in the late 1970s. The estimated maximum flow rate of the aqueduct was 250 litres per second. At that rate, the aqueduct would have supplied Cologne with 20 million litres of water each day!

Here's an interesting one. Both herself and I have noticed several newsletters to which we've subscribed suddenly stop. When we checked, it appears the newsletters are still in existence; we just unilaterally no longer get them.
The only reason I can think of is our email system doesn't send back magic pixels or whatever nefarious surveillance-tech they use to monitor how we read or respond to the newsletters, so we get dropped off the lists as being worthless.
