The quote was all over the internet, and I shared the meme in good faith as it had aligned with my (apparently not very reliable) memory of watching the live broadcast, but some people now doubt its authenticity.

It's one thing to challenge the authenticity of the quote, but if you can't do it civilly and without making accusations of bad faith, then you can expect to be given short shrift and blocked.

@d4v @mcnado A care home is around 10,000 a month here. There is no way one can save that much money. My dad lived in one for 3 years until his assets ran out. Then Medicaid picked up the rest. He had dementia and mobility issues. No question of keeping him home without even more expensive round the clock care.
