T'other day, 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗲, who in 2013, posted "Almost fancied the Indian guys at the swimming pool yesterday. Despite their thick prickly torsos and 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘆 grins." - won a Lewisham council seat with 1,340 votes - 10 more than 𝘓𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳’𝘴 Alex Brooks who came 2nd!
Universities can currently charge a maximum yearly tuition fee of £9,535 for standard full-time courses. But, last year the Government announced tuition fees will increase in line with inflation for the next two years, meaning fees are on course to be closer to £10,000.

𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 by the Good Growth Foundation found 𝟰𝟱% of 𝟣𝟨 𝘵𝘰 𝟣𝟪-𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳-𝘰𝘭𝘥 students from lower-income households thought university is not worthwhile due to tuition fees and the associated debt! 😔
