A month ago i went to upload an image after not logging in for 3 days. Apparently Pixelfed auto-bans things and despite the dev and i speaking publicly about adding something to the help documentation here, nothing has been added for that either. That was a month ago yet 'new features' are always being announced while the platform itself fails users. The admin of a Mastodon instance i am on runs a Pixelfed instance. They had no idea as an admin that Pixelfed did this and many users' posts were subsequently withheld because a manual review process is how it works. Also not in documentation even for those running instances using the software. Now a month later this. I'm done, this certainly isn't ready and the focus isn't on users, it's about adding new features to something that needs to be improved upon. That's clearly not changing.
