Tan et al, 2023: Infection with pre-#omicron variants + 0/1/2/3 shots, BA.1 and BA.2 infection + 0/1 shots provided no protection against XBB infection. Additionally, "hybrid" immunity against #XBB waned more quickly than against BA.4/5. #COVID19

I am trying to find something to explain to anti-vaxers why SARS-CoV2 produces more spike proteins than the vaccine does and how the virus itself causes more damage than the one piece of it. I am tired of explaining it over and over, and forgot to bookmark the one link I really liked when I saw it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Why the heck are many places that are giving COVID vaccines, tests, & treatments not requiring masks? These places are higher risk as many of those getting tested or getting treatments likely have COVID. How does it make sense to not try & prevent COVID spread in these places?

Literally everyone has "health freedom." In medicine, we call it "patient autonomy:" the basis of our system of patient counseling and informed consent.

What they are going for is "health recklessness," ignoring well-researched, massive studies because they politically disagree with what is right and safe for the *overwhelming* majority of Americans. No one should follow their anecdotes over actual data.

These people don't belong in medical management. Get out.

In Florida, 'health freedom' activists exert influence over a major hospital

Earlier this year, three activists who are opposed to COVID vaccines and standard treatment protocols for the illness were elected to the board of Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

More bookmarked links. again, I'll try to be organized, but that's not easy for me! One of my favorite links on why this isn't true, because it's a video for anti-vaxers who don't read: https://youtu.be/eAdanPfQdCA An article outlining much of the same: https://www.wired.com/story/the-physics-of-the-n95-face-mask/ h/t to Leo Lam: https://www.epa.gov/sciencematters/epa-researchers-test-effectiveness-face-masks-disinfection-methods-against-covid-19 Face masks for children do more good than harm: https://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/COVID-19/Pages/Cloth-Face-Coverings-for-Children-During-COVID-19.aspx The CDC on masks: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/masking-science-sars-cov2.html Masks don't block

I'm trying to stay motivated to move things I want to keep off from Twitter before it explodes...so here's some stuff I bookmarked on viral replication.

Viral Replication - Alison Blogs Here

Since I do not trust Twitter to survive, or even to not start disappearing tweets, I'm going to move some of the bookmarked tweets and helpful links I've collected bit by bit, attempting some semblance of order (wish me luck on that) so I can find them when I need them, and they can be used by others. I'm always
