Back in India, hanging out at the garage and hooning around on the new Enfield with my lad
Back home in beautiful, crazy India. I feel so much lighter here. Six weeks of bliss, heading out today 16 hour road trip up to Vasisht with Anu and Tinku. My new baby, the interceptor is waiting for me to take it out. Yeehah

Pretty cool! @RollingStone is also part of the #Mastodon community!

And yes it's the official!

Says 95% of votes so far.
Zelensky is distant 2nd, at 22%, only other candidate with double figures.

watching the Tesla stock tank has a certain kind of schadenfreude

Here is your reminder that it only takes a few seconds to say...

β€’ I'm sorry
β€’ Can we talk?
β€’ I love you
β€’ I was wrong
β€’ We can let the family of opossums live in the attic as long as they want and I think giving them tiny hats is a nice idea honestly
β€’ You were right

Interesting explanation from a decently large Twitter advertiser on why they've paused their ad budget on Twitter after keeping it running for the past couple of weeks. https://www.teamblind.com/post/i-told-my-team-to-pause-our-750kmonth-twitter-ads-budget-last-week-4dnbo1Ft

my newest baby. For three years I looked for this specific bike, a 1974 BMW R60/6. Why? It is the same make, model, and year as the one Elspeth Beard rode sole around the world in 1982. She is so inspirational, I had it fixated in my head I wanted the same make of bike. I looked and looked, and found one in Canada but was too hard to import to Oz.

Then one day, I popped it up on SM that I was still looking, and my mate in the UK Julian, who writes for ABR magazine, saw my post. "Ali!" he messaged. "I've found one!" He found this one, went to do a test ride for me, and said "its gorgeous, if you don't buy it, I will"

So I bought it, and Nick who owned it, and love it just as much as I did, went to huge trouble to get it ready for shipping. We became friends, and he is planning to come to Australia next year to ride his beloved bike again.

In the meantime, it's in the workshop, getting some more work done and registered. Can't wait to go for a blast when I get back from India.

Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who have liked, boosted and commented on my images, and to all the new followers I have. It's rather humbling. 😊

Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish #Highlands, a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.

These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.

Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.

hard decisions, the latest episode of Yellowstone has dropped. Do I watch it tonight and then regret it tomorrow having watched it while tired. Or do I try to keep it until the morning, knowing that I will succumb around 1 am, and watch. Or do I go full masochist and try to keep it for the plane to Delhi on Wednesday .... btw, Beth Dutton is my spirit animal
