Currently using #Caddy webserver to render Markdown documents for internal documentation.
No dependencies, no build step, just push documents to web server (an Incus container) and results are immediately visible. The 'push' step is automatic thanks to Incron.

Curious how you maintain your todo list?
I've tried various packages both free and commercial but not found anything that I felt comfortable with.

Need to copy a file or directory as root from one server to another?
Cannot (rightly) SSH to either server directly as root?
Do have SSH access to both source and target with a user with sudo ?
Use rsync with --rsync-path option, e.g.

sudo rsync -avuP --rsync-path "sudo rsync" /source/path/ user@remote:/remote/path/

Maybe an under appreciated utility - incron (inotify cron).
A crontab-like syntax enables you to run scripts on specified file or directory events.
I use it to stash logfiles to a central location from several hosts.
There is a good write up here: https://oneuptime.com/blog/post/2026-03-02-use-incron-cron-like-file-monitoring-ubuntu/view

Cilium Tracing with OpenTelemetry

Export Cilium Hubble flow data to OpenTelemetry collectors to correlate network-level events with distributed traces, enabling end-to-end visibility from eBPF to application spans.

If you are looking for a relatively straightforward way of running HomeAssistantOS, and you have a Proxmox, LXC or Incus instance, then it might be worth checking out their OVA. It's not difficult to download the OVA and import into LXC/Incus as a VM. Fully supported by HA and by default you get root access to the VM via the instance console.

Only just discovered Self Hosted Hub,

Have checked a few categories and the software lists seem up to date - their blog isn't though.

Might be worth trying disk resize method described here:
https://patrickpriestley.com/blog/how-to-resize-vm-drive/
Nothing to lose, apart from some time.
Method uses tools which should already be installed if VM is Debian or Ubuntu.
Guide is quite detailed, including navigating the Proxmox UI to resize the disk.

Step-by-step guide to safely resize Ubuntu VM disk storage in Proxmox, including partition expansion and filesystem resizing for ext4 and LVM volumes

Been in a similar situation.
IMO it's quicker to delete the VM and start again than try and fix a failed install.

Not just Hetzner, OVH are also substantially raising their prices and curiously on exactly the same date.

Mine does, usually two laptops with the occasional Border Collie - she is old and not very well so gets away with a lot
