My 2023 challenge has begun. Combines #angling and #reading. In 2023 I must catch 25 species of fish in English/French fresh water (& 365+ fish total). But I have to finish a new book (fiction/non-fiction) in order to go for each fish species. So I must read at least 25 new books. First book was the exellent Control by @adamrutherford. Superb and scholarly book about Eugenics. Fun fact: as an undergraduate in 1982 I was in the same college rooms that Galton had occupied over 100 years earlier.
