My next app is ChapterPod, an app for podcasters who want to add chapters to their shows. It's in beta today for More Birchtree subscribers, and I expect to launch it later this month.

Introducing ChapterPod, now in beta

Well, it didn't take too long into the new year for me to announce a new app, huh? This is a pretty niche tool, so I don't expect most people to get value from it, but if you create a podcast (or two or three), then I think you're going

Birchtree

There are a few features detailed in the post, but one thing I really want to call out is that it's available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, so you can work from whatever device you want.

it also has playback of the episode in the app, which means you don't have to do the thing many of us do where you listen in one app and then toggle over to your chapter editor to document the chapters. Do it all in one place!

@matt_birchler Can I sign up to be notified when it's out? I'd love to use this!
@spiralganglion I'm not good at fancy product launches, so not really, but I'll definitely post about it here or on the blog.
@matt_birchler This looks wicked good! I have a couple questions: is the output .mp3 lossless compressed like Forecast's? and I know this is version 1 but are you planning on adding a recording levels 'graph' or plot like how a track is displayed in Logic? I like being able to add chapter markers visually exactly before where the new segment starts. Thanks!
@matt_birchler Is it going to be Tahoe only? 😿
