Listen now (32 min) | More back-and-forth between Fox and Dominion shows why this case needs to go to trial

Serious Trouble
@alltherum we need a similar word for when you're cutting a large piece of fabric so you have to move it to continue the cut and you always end up with a weird divot in the middle
@peejmaybe
It's just knitting a long tube. Knitting stockinette in the round is great for mindless knitting, nothing but knit stitches in a continuous loop means you don't have to pay attention. It's great for meetings or movies with subtitles. And no curling. I just put a few tassels on the end to close the tube.
@peejmaybe
It's one reason I always do scarves in the round. It takes more yarn but you get a nice thick scarf with no curling. And it's easier to just mindlessly knit round and round.
@AxiomArts I just finished my first pair of socks, with that exact yarn.
@cheribaker
That's one reason I don't like garter stitch. It's easy but I feel like it shows all imperfections. Stockinette looks good even when it's wonky. I can embrace the wonky.
@Ask_aubry I keep getting notifications even when there's nothing new, like there's some kind of problem updating.
@mariet I got one of these at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't happy with the fabric on worsted weight yarn. It's very loose. But everything I've read says it's not good on heavier yarn although I haven't tried that yet. It works, it's fast but I'm not crazy about the result.
@sarahemclaugh It also assumes that this is unique to China. My daughter saw children much younger than 11 going to school on the train alone in Seoul. I saw the same in Singapore. Maybe a more authoritarian government than the US but nowhere close to China.
….. It’s actually scary to me that some people think that tens of millions of people should be treated as as-a-matter-of-law outsiders. It’s a terrible, terrible way to run a society.
