When voters reject you, during a general election and by a wide margin, it's generally not a good idea to run again for the same office. Check the electoral history on that, or try to land another thoughtless remark. Or... just stop now.
@HakeemG You're the one on my posts blowing a gasket. The fiction I referred to had nothing to do with Trump. It was the part of your reply that spoke to inexperience in general. Stop arguing with me about Trump! It's a ridiculous retort! I've worked for the #Dems my whole life. I'm articulating the fact that experience inside a broken party is not validating or a selling point. If you have a problem with that point of view, I really DGAF.

@HakeemG That statement is fiction. It's also dangerous for democracy to have the view that only career politicians can lead. There's immense value to be added by folks who haven't been molded inside a broken system. Look at the Dems now, sitting on their hands with no power and no clue what to do. I 💯 don't want more of the same. I'm willing to be open enough to admit that things are completely broken on both sides, and there needs to be a new way forward.
@HakeemG P.S. The problem with the current regime is not their lack of experience. This is a second term president and a former senator. The problem is that they're trash human beings, corrupt to their core.
@HakeemG After the humiliating defeat in '24, Ezra Klein asked Dem leaders in Congress what their first priorities would've been if Harris-Walz won the election. Not one of them had an answer. Go read the article. Guess what? They still don't. VP Harris couldn't articulate one, Newson can't either. Anti-Trump is not a plan for the future.
I, for one, don't want more of the same. More of nothing is still nothing. Obviously, primary voters will decide. Peace be with you ✌🏿.
