#TVnight is going to start. First off, a #numberphile #video about #pancake #numbers followed by a couple videos of people who run cat rescues interacting with their cats (#LionWhisperer with his lions and #BCD's wife with a tiger cub that's the size of a medium-large dog).

Next will probably be the #MLP finale.

They used the storybook illustration for the first time in a very long while. I like that alternate art style.

(Following toots shall go unlisted so I don’t clog the TL more)

Hello, @Celestia! You seem to be having court with your sister and #Twilight made the time to visit you.

Twilight is **way** too excited, as always!

I think they may be referencing episodes I missed here. Might need to catch up somehow (they’re not in my sync folder)

I really like the Foley of the hooves walking
Starlight has illegible writing, as does Starswirl the Bearded
Was that transition a time-travel spell back in time or a cut forward in time?

#AJ still grabs #RD by the #tail.

#MLP #TVnight

O shit ghost ponies!

Holy fuck a #hexagon

#MLP #TVnight

Male ponies: a #mane6 of #stallions

#TwilightSparkle has fully adapted to being a winged pony: she flies around when she’s very excited, just like a #pegasus
This Pony of Shadows story so far sounds a lot like the #NightmareMoon story but with #stallions (or maybe a few #geldings as well)

HOLD THE PHONE: I’m bumping this one to public!!!

The plot of this episode just took a turn extremely close to a happier version the #fanfic I’ve had in my head for the past five years and never seen to have the #NaNoWriMo time to make a fixed work to get it out of my system. Namely: #Twilight going on a #journey to discover exactly where #Starswirl went.

Since it’s an actual #MLP episode, it’ll have a much happier ending than my fic.

Two sentences later, and this is confirmed as the happy-ending Hasbro-approved version of the fic I want to write. I’ve already had large enough sections of it contradicted by episodes that came out after I made the basic plot, so I’d still keep the same disclaimer: the major arc was made in June 2012, so canonical events after MLP season 2 and Doctor Who series 6 are only suggestions for this story.
This Harry Potter collection mission is a major deviation from my original plan for my fic, but it’s actually a bit more sensible than most of my plans for that section of the story. That part was conceived when I was mostly reading silly adventure stories, so it’s not as thematically coherent as the second half.
Spike’s diplomacy skills: 2
Athleticism: 3
Luck: 10

These ponies are at least making an attempt at #continuity. Still hate that #DaringDo is real in-Universe. I’m glad that the #mane6 aren’t the only modern heroes of #Equestria, but #MLP has an extremely poor record of letting fictional events stay fiction. I think the comic episode is the only one where all the in-Universe fictional characters have stayed fiction.

It’s the return of the #Hexagon and #Starlight seems to be the mare of sanity to balance the boundless excitement of #Twilight and #Sunburst
After the recap, part 2 opens with a #music inspired by O Fortuna but different enough not to get Youtube #copyright strikes.
RD is just as much of a braggart as ever. At least she acknowledged that her ego is the size of a whale 🐳
I’ve always been big into #continuity and #world-buildingβ€”(does a #hyphen bread a #hashtag?)β€”, that time I watched #TheWire really solidified those views of mine. I’m enjoying many of the callbacks in this episode.
I still prefer the Elements of Harmony as a primordial force of #Equestria, but being created by real ponies also makes sense (and is satisfactory as an explanation of their origin)
Good observation, Rainbow Dash. That map has been a villain tracker for the past three seasons.
Starlight is having a **major** memento mori moment because she easily could have ended up blasted with rainbow friendship magic.
Cue ominous music
Not mad that the climax was a repeat of the season 5 finale. Also that giant shovel horse required two Pegasi to lift him.
It’s very nice that the show openly acknowledges that most of its story arcs have come full circle.
