I went to sleep at around 5am last night and I woke up at around 3pm today and I'm having breakfast right now, my sleep schedule is a d i s a s t e r
Well, it's morning somewhere in the world
@Gargron
Good morning Eugen (from Canada).
@Gargron welcome to Pacific Time, yo! :D
@Gargron Working with contributers all over the world is a blessing and a curse
@gargron That's what the !tzag group is for after all :)
@Gargron hey any chance of getting an import and export of one's status messages?
@Gargron Welcome to EST! 😪 ✨
Checking in from morning.
@Gargron Mine is all sorts of screwy right now, too. Which sucks. 🙁

@[email protected] 5am is still not too bad, I used to fall asleep when other people were getting up at 7.

Still, I feel you.

@gargron I don't think I've heard anyone saying "5am last night". You gotta take a full-day break and bring things back to reasonable order.
Hey @Gargron, I wanted to share an a article with you: https://journal.thriveglobal.com/amp/p/56d62ef5edf3 Let me say again - thank you and everyone who participated in the creation of #Mastodon (and #OStatus and all the other things I just learned about recently, like many others here)! I feel there is a lot of potential to do things the right way here! But also get some sleep, sleep is important 😇 😴
@Gargron そやねー( ̄▽ ̄)
@Gargron dat TobiWan reference
@moritzheiber nobody's ever done that in the history of mastodon
@Gargron Well, sleep hygiene can help a lot more than people expect. At the same time, there are times during which an alternate sleep schedule can be quite fitting.
@Gargron I’ve been living like this for years. You’ll get used to it.

@rauschma @Gargron For real? I can't feel properly productive like that.

I'm 100% independent (work-wise) but I try to go to bed at a reasonable time and get up at a reasonable time every day.

Proper sleep (and hence a proper sleep schedule) is super important to get things done IMO. Also regular exercise and time spent definitely not working. (Maybe I'm just old?)

Eugen: try different things and see what works for you.

@teleclimber @rauschma @Gargron works for me. I'm super productive at night. Bad thing: not enough ☀️
@polarity @rauschma @Gargron I work well at night too, but then I don't work well after a few days where I'm not sleeping at normal times.
