Coming up in #LibreOffice 26.8, our next major release (in August): Draft writing mode in Writer. This removes all other elements, letting you concentrate entirely on the text. @libreoffice the idea is good, but that looks terrible. Normal view is less cluttered and with more white space, the opposite of what it should be.

@audunmb @libreoffice It seems that is is not a more-comfortable-to-work-with-view; it just switches off all graphical elements and page properties which means lines get even longer and harder to read and there is less whitespace to guide the eye.
