If you’re on iOS what mastodon app do you use? Looking for a new one that’s not Mona
@farah I’m still investigating this. Ice Cubes seems good. I’m a bit tired of glitches in Mona 6, and the price of the new version is awful.
@farah I use Ivory, it’s $2 a month
@farah ivory has been great for me.
@bucknam I don’t care for their subscription plan tbh
@farah it’s one of the few bits of software I’m willing to support yearly — their support and willingness to implement usable features has been nice; but I get ya.
@farah Ice Cubes has served me very well.
@farah I use “Toot.” Works well for me. One time fee at download (was $5 several years ago). I like that it highlights threads in different colors so it’s easy to see replies. It also slightly highlights things I’ve favorited. It’s pretty intuitive. I haven’t tried other ones (except the mastodon interface) so I can’t say if it’s better or worse than those.
@farah photo examples of the thread color and favorite highlighting that I mentioned.

@farah

I use the web site. Sometimes the official app.

@farah if tusky made it to ios i would recommend that. I use it on android and it feels more lile the web interface than the official client does.
In fact the official client is just horrible
@farah Ivory for me. I keep trying others, including IceCubes, but it’s incredibly buggy for me and I’m sick of the jank.

@farah I use "Tusker", a rather unknown app. It's free but the developer can't really decide if their releasing it as floss. The source code is open, but it's proprietary (currently)

It's the one that works best for me.

@farah metatext
@Mercurial Ooh haven’t heard about that in a while! It was good and simple, the last time I used it
